Post Real Madrid Loss Brings Mohamed Salah to Treatment for Shoulder Injury  

After Liverpool’s loss against Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Kiev, things didn’t exactly mellow down since Saturday night. Liverpool’s top scorer Mohamed Salah was injured in the shoulder by Sergio Ramos during a rough arm tangle. The 25-year-old Egyptian footballer is scheduled to undergo treatment for his injury in Spain according to the Egyptian Football Federation.

With the World Cup up and coming in Russia, the whole world is wondering how Salah would be able to make it in time for the big event. He did make an effort to express his confidence on Twitter, excited and motivated to get better to be able to play for Egypt’s World Cup campaign in Russia.

Salah was said to have begun his treatment last Sunday with the national team doctor, the president of the Egyptian federation and other Liverpool medics on his side. Mohamed Salah was reported to be positive and resolute about his treatment and recovery.

Jurgen Klopp did admit that he fears Salah could be benched from the World Cup which starts in three weeks’ time. Despite the worry of many of his colleagues and coaches, Salah is aware of his circumstance and remains positive towards his shot at playing the World Cup.

“It was a very tough night, but I’m a fighter. Despite the odds, I’m confident that I’ll be in Russia to make you all proud, your love and support will give me the strength I need.”  The Egyptian player adds.
