Sergio Ramos Faces €1 Billion Lawsuit from Mo Salah’s Egyptian Lawyer  

The shoulder slam between Sergio Ramos and Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final is one of the most unforgettable aspects of the season. The fall out of that slam led to Mo Salah’s treatment in Barcelona which the player is determined to get through just in time for the World Cup this month.

Many of Salah’s fans and people in Egypt was also witness to this televised injury on the field. An Egyptian lawyer, Bassem Wahba has even made it to national television and decided to sue Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos’ for 1 billion euros.

The captain of Real Madrid is being sued by the Egyptian lawyer for causing Salah and the Egyptian people ‘physical and psychological harm’. Wahba appeared on the Sada El-Balad Chanel and said ‘Ramos intentionally injured Mo Salah and should be punished for his actions.’

With the World Cup opener with a match between Egypt and Uruguay, Salah’s health and recovery is an utmost priority among Egypt’s medical team. Despite the unpredictability of circumstance, the team expresses their confidence in Salah making it to the game on June 15.

Bassem Wahba has filed a lawsuit and a complaint to FIFA regarding the matter and also asked for quite the compensation, despite the obscurity behind the injury. The medical team working on Salah’s treatment did claim that the player suffered ‘a sprain in the shoulder ligaments.’

Mo Salah is positive about his treatment and is optimistic he will make it in time for the big event on the 15th. The circumstance he is faced with pushes him into a race against time to get better and back in shape for his country’s first game in the World Cup in 27 years. The opening game is set on June 15 in Russia between Egypt and Uruguay.
