Everton’s Lewis Gibson May Go Back to Boyhood Club New Castle

Everton’s defender and kid wonder, Lewis Gibson is now shut off from the idea of moving back to his boyhood New Castle. The 19-year-old left his early launch pad at New Castle due to strains in his relationship with then Under 23 boss Peter Beardsley. The team did not look any further and stood by the coach, allowing Gibson to leave as soon as he could.

Since then New Castle has gotten a new Under 23 boss because of Beardsley’s despicable behavior after discovering the racist abuse he put African players through during his time at the club. Gibson’s contract with Everton expired by the end of the season when he will have to decide to stay or go back to New Castle under new management.
