Newcastle United has decided to close a deal with Michael Krmencik, along with AC Sparta Prague’s Martin Dubravka. With New Castle’s poor performance in the season thus far, gaining more muscle from Krmencik and Dubravka was a smart move made in the hopes of actually improving team performance next season.
On last Sunday’s game versus Chelsea in the FA Cup, New Castle scored only 22 goals making them the 5th worst in Premier League history. According to Rafael Benitez, he’s had his eye on the two players prior to the transfer window comes to a close.
Benitez strongly believes that Michal Krmencik will likely meet what is necessary of the former category. The footballer has scored 11 goals when featured in 14 league appearances. Benitez also expects that the 24-year-old could do wonders in increasing his place at the league table.
