The Brit Awards Attended by Liverpool Soccer Stars

A night of glitter and glamour at the BRIT Awards last Wednesday night was graced by many celebrities, singers, musicians, artists, and other entertainers in the industry. Aside from the pop culture icons surfacing at the event, football superstars from Liverpool made appearances. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Daniel Sturridge both showed up in dapper looks.

Oxlade-Chamberlain wearing a luxurious, all black ensemble was photographed with his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards wearing a gorgeous dark blue gown at the O2 Arena in London. Daniel Sturridge was also in the BRIT Awards and presented an award with Paloma Faith to George Ezra for the category Best Male.

The host of the show, Jack Whitehall who happens to be an Arsenal fan made Sturridge a butt of his joke referring to the 29-year-old soccer star as a ”Premier League runner-up in waiting.” Whitehall jokingly adds, “I don’t want to alarm any Liverpool fans but it looks like Daniel Sturridge picked up a knock shaking George Ezra’s hand. Might be out for a couple of months.”

Liverpool’s stand in the Premier League has them smack in the second slot and is level on points with Manchester City leading despite playing fewer games.
