The president of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Nasser Al-Khelaifi is on full support and backing with Thomas Tuchel as the team heads into the match against Liverpool on Wednesday. The 25-year-old German manager took Unai Emery’s place as PSG’s manager who led the team to a great start of the Ligue 1 season so far.
PSG began their season launch with consistent wins in their first five wins. A remarkable score of 4-0 was also on record against St. Etienne last Friday. The team’s Champions League campaign can either make or break the team’s streak in their game against Liverpool at Anfield. Al-Khelaifi has nothing but support for Tuchel’s hand on PSG’s potential victory.
According to Al-Khelaifi, “Parish has the players and the coach to do something there. We have the best coach in the world.”
The Champions’ League group is also not shy from bringing PSG up against Napoli and Red Star Belgrade. The team may have been eliminated in the last -16 stage in the past two campaigns for the Champions League, but PSG is a team that is just as ready with players like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Angel di Maria among others to back the team up.
