Leroy Sane’s Knee Injury Will Not Affect his Deal with Bayern Munich

There’s a new team calling the shots for Leroy Sane’s playing potential. Bayern Munich, who has been keen on signing the 23-year-old winger at Manchester City, with a competing league like Bundesliga. They offered a whopping transfer fee of £135 million to Sane but never followed through because of his knee injury in the Community Shield last month.

Manchester City is not one to just abandon one of its top players, who are still committed to persuading the 23-year-old German winger to sign a new deal at the Etihad Stadium. There’s still a chance for Sane to play this season especially with a successful outcome from his ACL surgery. Professor Christian Fink took great care of Sane’s surgery which the 23-year-old flew all the way to Austria to see. The injury was acquired during the opening minutes of the Community Shield clash against Liverpool at Wembley last August 4th.
