Philippe Coutinho Swayed Towards PSG over Bayern Munich

27-year-old Philippe Coutinho’s contract is about to expire in a month and in his departure from Barcelona, the attacking midfielder is out to look for a new transfer either with Bayern Munich or PSG. Coutinho has cleared it up though that he would choose PSG first if push comes to shove, with a permanent deal to move to Paris being a more fit for his disposition, according to Mundo Deportivo. Coutinho moved to Barcelona from Liverpool 18 months ago at a value of £142m.

Bayern Munich was keen on displaying interest on a 2-year loan deal with the Brazilian footballer, one that is similar to James Rodriguez deal from Real Madrid. However, the Bundesliga champs cannot match the salary at the Nou Camp, a small issue PSG will have to face if Coutinho pushes through with the French side. Aside from a permanent deal, Coutinho also aims to be able to work with his International friends, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos.
