Warm Weather Camp It Is for Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Boys

The renowned manager of the Tottenham Hotspurs was pacing their training days at Barcelona in their warm-weather camp. The practice matches and training sessions didn’t exactly make players break a sweat, with Dele Alli spotted wearing gloves and headbands during training at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

In their domestic break, the north London club took the initiative to regroup after a series of tough losses and results, with the top-four chasing side on hold until the 31st of March. This will mean a trip to Liverpool that means a match against the title rivals. Three consecutive losses may have taken a toll on their chances of landing a top title in the Premier League, and may even put them at risk of missing out on the top four.

Pochettino also states the much-needed work they have to put in post-Southampton loss. “’That shows we still have a lot of work to do, that shows that we are not mature enough.” The Argentinian coach said.

He then stresses the need to be level headed when playing against other clubs, regardless of their standing, “If you want to be a real contender, we cannot arrive here with the arrogance of a Champions League quarter-finalist.” Pochettino adds.
