Robert Lewandowski Earns 5th All-Time Leading Goal-scorer in Champions League

Olympiacos and Bayern Munich went head to head in a 2-3 Champions League match last Tuesday where the latter won thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s goal. The 31-year-old Polish striker brought home the victory for Niko Kovac’s team. Youssef El Arabi who managed to deliver a powerful downward header pushed Germany’s striker to execute beautifully the winning move.

Lewandowski made an even bigger during the two minutes after the hour mark where he swung his leg high to tap pat Sa and gain command. Olympiacos hit back four minutes later via Guilherme who deflected strategically that gave Neuer affair volley. However, Kovac’s team still managed to lead Group B with nine points after Red Star 3-0 and 7-2 for Tottenham in their individual matches prior.
