Pep Guardiola Reveals New Kit Provider for Manchester City, Puma

The beloved manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola is in the process of signing a multi-million pound deal with Puma as the manufacturer and sportswear brand pitches a 10-year deal worth £650 million. Puma also handles the sponsorship kits of Manchester City’s four sister clubs, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester United.

Adidas competitor is in the works of gaining City’s top players but has instead gotten Guardiola as its prized asset as a sporting brand. The 48-year-old being a top talent in the football industry is rumored to receive a seven-figure salary if the deal with Puma signs on for sure. He is also viewed as one of the few club managers that have a commercial appeal on various demographics in terms of sponsorship deals.

City was sponsored by Adidas in the previous season, but Guardiola has still been spotted wearing the rival brand, Puma. However, DSquared has always been a brand Guardiola was loyal to, since his early days in Barcelona.

Aside from the top gun manager, Puma is looking into pulling in more players from Manchester City, some of which include Leroy Sane, Kevin De Bruyne, and Raheem Sterling to name few potential targets, according to Bjorn Gulden, the chief executive of Puma.
