Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku Eyed by Juventus in the Efforts to Replace Mario Mandzukic

Juventus has been itching to gain more forward muscle with players like Mario Mandzukic leaving the team. Massimiliano Allegri’s team has been eyeing striker Romelu Lukaku for quite a while now as the Italian giants plot a raid on Old Trafford. Calcio Mercato reports that the top notchers of Serie A league are profusely looking for new muscle.

The 25-year-old Belgian striker has garnered 6 goals in 22 appearances for United in the recent campaign. Aside from Lukaku, Juventus has also been in discussion with Mino Raiola, Paul Pogba’s agent regarding a sell which United is opposed to according to Sportsmail.

It was said that Raiola has pending talks between his clients and Juventus who still has high interest in re-signing the midfielder they sold to United in 2016 for £89million. Other players Juventus takes interest in signing is also Anthony Martial and Matteo Darmian which they hope will help clear their spot at the top of the leagues.
