It’s been reported that a £15.5 million move for Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid is a few signatures away from finalization. The 19-year-old Spanish talent could even go up to £20 million which are inclusive of bonuses which Manchester City will take a huge part of for the transfer fee. The transfer fee can also go as high as 40% of for Manchester City if Manchester United signs him from Real Madrid.
The 19-year-old made the ultimate decision to leave Man City after discovering that there’s not much playing time and genuine first-team opportunities under Pep Guardiola’s team. The news is not boding well for the team with Jadon Sancho’s departure and transfer to Borussia Dortmund in the previous season.
Manchester City bought Diaz from Malaga last 2014 with an initial £200,000. The young Spaniard may be out of City but he does reckon to share an agent with City boss Pep Guardiola. Real Madrid has set him up with a six-year contract paying more than £60,000 weekly. Aside from this, Diaz will not be going thru the Castilla side and heading straight to the Real senior squad where the teen is hopeful to be a useful addition to the team for the next season.
