Next summer, Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid is reportedly eyeing a swap deal which will place Paul Pogba and Toni Kroos in the hot seats. Zidane failed to bring in his top bet for the opening of the summer window which involved Manchester United’s 26-year-old Paul Pogba and Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos.
Real Madrid managed to stay in a prolific stance throughout their stay which they are in, having defeated Levante 3-2 on the weekend in La Liga. Bild, a German newspaper says Zidane is still optimistic with getting Pogba to sign with him and will look to offload Kroos to the Premier League in order to help process the deal faster.
Bild also states that United is also keen on 29-year-old Toni Kroos. The central midfielder is meant to get the player for a fee of £18 million in exchange for star player Pogba. The French central midfielder did miss United’s 1-0 home victory against Leicester last Saturday but was able to show his impressive demeanor in the team’s opening matches in the season.
