Daniel Sturridge Spotted at Turkish Airport amidst Seal Transfer to Trabzonspor

29-year-old present free agent Daniel Sturridge who used to play for clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea was recently spotted in a Turkish airport, prompting cues that h will be released by the Reds soon to join Trabzonspor.

The former Liverpool striker was seen exiting the airport with proper entourage and security as he was driven away. It’s been reported that Trabzonspor is interested in making an offer deal at £2.8million per season. Other clubs have also had an eye on the striker, including Marseille, Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Betis, and Atalanta, while clubs like DC United were among those who took the extra mile and pitched an offer to Sturridge and Liverpool.

Sturridge has been recently given the green light to play again after being banned for a short while for breaching betting rules. The 29-year-old first moved to Liverpool back in January 2013 and eventually managed to establish quite the portfolio with 68 impressive goals in 160 appearances for the club. Despite injuries in the latter years, Sturridge still managed to start in 5 international games in the Premier League last season.
