Bayern Munich’s up and coming Canadian footballer Alphonso Davies just signed another five years with his current team. The signing was done with precaution as the 19-year-old left-back wore a mask due to COVID-19, as he signed the contract and celebrated the continuity deal. He has performed with stamina and skill in the last season and has managed to get people’s attention throughout his appearances in the Champions League.
Davies joined Bayern Munich in January 2019 from Vancouver Whitecaps and was involved with the senior side as well as the reserve team a few times last season, which allowed him to build his potential and step up to the first-team on a full-time basis. At just 19, he was able to cement his name into the world of football and is slowly becoming one of the defenders to watch in Bundesliga.
