10 Years in Manchester City Prompts David Silva’s Final Season at the Premier League

Manchester City’s team captain and 33-year-old David Silva are set to leave Manchester City after 10 years in the team. The team’s central attacking midfielder is aiming to end his lifelong dream of playing at Las Palmas and will be exiting Pep Guardiola’s team next year which will be a career marker littered with trophies for Silva and Manchester City alike.

Silva joined City back in 2010 where he was valued at £26 million from Valencia. He was part of the team that lifted four Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups and 4 League Cups in his time at Valencia. In his final season, Silva will take one last jab at claiming European glory in his City swansong. In his 9 years at City, the 33-year-old is closing in on 400 total appearances for City, 70 goals in 395 impressive games.
