Thailand Up against Panama and Indonesia for International Cups and Competitions

Akira Nishino’s War Elephants are set to battle head to head against Panama in an international friendly match for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers campaign. Indonesia is next in line to face Thailand in the second round for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Joint-Qualifiers at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok come 26th of March. Thailand is set for two final fixtures in the World Cup Qualifiers against UAE in the second round on the 4th of June, and on the 9th of June, against Tan Cheng Hoe’s team.

Vietnam is leading over Thailand in Group G with just three points ahead of the War Elephants, and just one behind Malaysia. On the 30th of March, Panama will be competing with Nishino’s men just days after competing against ASEAN rivals, Indonesia who are currently at the bottom with zero points from their last five matches. However, in the latest FIFA World rankings, Thailand lands on the 113th spot for competitive Men’s football, while Panama is at 81.
