Ole Gunnar Solkskjaer’s Manchester United celebrated a victory of 2-1 over Manchester City in Old Trafford today, March 9, 2020. One of the team’s prime players, Anthony Martial, the forward from United who attained a mild injury, specifically second-degree burns from colliding into City’s goalkeeper, Ederson Santana de Moraes.
The 24-year-old forward shared on Instagram stories the mildly disturbing knee gashes. It was shown on a video and showed the gruesome wounds it takes to place a victory. Thankfully, Martial remains positive about the whole injury and remains determined, along with his teammates at Manchester United as they race for a spot at the top four. The new win will bump up Solkskjaer’s team to fifth place leading Wolverhampton Wanderers and just three points behind Chelsea.
