Indonesia – Laos Battle it Out for Semifinal Spot at the 2019 SEA Games

It’s no surprise that Indonesia made it just in time to land another opportunity to make it to the semifinals. This time, one more battle cry against Laos at 4:00 PM, today, at the Imus Grandstand in Cavite, Philippines. Indonesia’s Group B survived competitions with Vietnam and Thailand, with Vietnam leading the group at 12 points, while the second leader goes to Indonesia at 9 points, along with a goal difference of +10.

Vietnam will be facing Thailand today, with just one more draw for the Golden Dragons to succeed and qualify for the semis. Group A’s competing nations include the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Timo-Leste, while Group B is composed of Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, and Brunie Darussalam. Whoever tops both groups go head to head in the knockout stages which will be held on the 7th of December, while the third-place play-off and final match will take place on the 10th of December. The best is yet to come and much more can be expected from the 2019 SEA Games, all there’s left to do is wait and see.
